The Universe is Here by Stephanie Lake fuses movement and music, bringing blistering light to the stage and a fizzing glimpse of a haunted dreamscape.
Poetic, fresh and forceful, her new work will feature incredible collaborators including costume design by Harriet Oxley, music composed by Robin Fox and a live performance by Harpist Emily Granger.
This is intricate and dynamic dance that hits you in the solar plexus.

“[The Universe is Here] is like a crazy fairytale. I want it to be energising to people, to give audiences a feeling of lightness. Even though we go to dark places, and even though it does end on a rather sad and poignant note, I hope the ultimate takeaway is the world is a hopeful, beautiful place.
What we’ve been living through and what we’re experiencing in the world has been rather dark the last few years. I want to create the opposite of that.”
